The day after I attended a Prenatal Bonding class I was still thinking about how each of my sons perceived his birth and childhood. I had never asked any of the boys to describe his perceptions of his birth rather I had always given them my recollection of the event, assuming that between the two of us I would be the only one who knew. The Prenatal Bonding class had raised doubts about my assumption and I was preparing myself to ask my boys for their thoughts, their memories.
