Postpartum depression therapy group
About this group
This therapy group is an ongoing treatment group for mothers who are experiencing post partum depression, anxiety, or other postpartum mood disorders. This group is lead by a therapist trained in group process and has many years experience working with these issues.
When and where?
Meets weekly on Mondays – 5:00pm – 6:30pm
8 week commitment minimum

Cost of the group
Sliding Fee: $30-$50 per group session. Some insurances may cover group therapy.
Who will benefit?
Any new mother who is seeking group support where she can process her emotional experiences with others who are experiencing similar difficulties.
In this group you will learn to:
- deal with the increased stress in your life
- recognize your emotions and manage them better
- take care of yourself
- understand what is contributing to your distress
- understand your feelings
- negotiate the new needs of the family with your partner
- feel better about yourself and about being a new mom.
